About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for a licensed or license-eligible Bilingual Pediatric Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at ChildServe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and administer psychologically based instruments for assessments, and accurately score and interpret results.
  • Communicate assessment findings with children, families, and other relevant parties, maintaining dignity and respect.
  • Develop recommendations based on assessment findings, child goals, family goals, and team consensus.
  • Design and implement treatment programs, including therapy, counseling, or advice.
  • Help clients define goals and plan action to achieve personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment.
Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, typical business hours. Full-time and part-time positions available.

Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.
  • State of Iowa Licensed Psychologist or Provisional Psychology License (Postdoctoral applicants accepted).
  • Two years or more of licensed practice preferred.
  • Experience and effective interactions with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum preferred.
  • Trauma-informed psychologist with practice experience in intellectual testing, cognitive and aptitude testing, autism diagnostics, and mental illness diagnostics preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish, Arabic, or French preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
