About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Representative to join our team at AbbVie. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for executing brand strategy and tactics in the field, driving sales performance, and building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Sales Performance: Meet or exceed sales targets, brand KPIs, and financial objectives.
  • Develop and Execute Call Plans: Create pre-call plans using SMART objectives and execute post-call evaluations to continuously improve sales performance.
  • Build Customer Relationships: Proactively and continuously aspire to serve customer needs, expectations, and challenges to build trusted customer relationships and achieve win-win agreements.
  • Market Intelligence: Continuously build understanding of customer needs and expectations, territory market landscape, competitors, market segments/dynamics, accounts, disease, product, clinical, and sales expertise.
  • Disease State Experts: Differentiate AbbVie's value proposition with health providers assigned and identify, develop, and maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocates to maximize brand performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Biological sciences, pharmacy, business-related field, or equivalent.
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record of success in selling and solid presentation skills.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools; possesses strategic and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Adaptability: Proactively identifies customer style/behavior and adapts quickly to all aspects of selling approach.
  • Matrix Environment: Operates effectively in a matrix environment.
  • Commercial Pharmaceutical Industry Experience: Preferred: Proven track record of success in sales performance within respective therapeutic areas.
  • English Language Proficiency: Preferred: English language proficiency verbally and in writing (for all non-English speaking countries).
