Job Overview:

We're looking for a fresh and friendly face to join our management team The Executive Director of Operations is responsible for all aspects of café operations, focusing on sales growth, customer service, and team building. They connect with both customers and staff to build our community-conscious café. The Executive Director of Operations reports to their Multi-Unit Manager and oversees the Assistant Manager and Shift Leaders, and all store personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and hire talented individuals to fulfill staffing needs
  • Train, mentor, and motivate assistant store manager and shift supervisors
  • Think strategically in ways that will help build the café's profit, strengthen the company culture, improve customer service, food quality, and team members' morale
  • Office and administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, scheduling staff, and more

Requirements:

  • Care deeply about the health and well-being of team members, customers, and communities
  • Be detail-oriented and have weekend availability
  • Have an unusually strong passion for delighting customers
  • Be able to stand and walk for periods of 8 to 10 hours each shift, and be able to reach, bend, balance, and transport objects repeatedly during a shift
