Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager specializing in Landscape Design to oversee and manage landscape construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape architecture, project management, and construction processes, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating aesthetically pleasing and functional outdoor spaces.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage landscape construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop project timelines, schedules, and work plans.
  • Oversee all aspects of the construction process, including site preparation, grading, planting, hardscaping, irrigation, and lighting.
Team Leadership
  • Supervise and direct the work of construction crews, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Provide clear instructions, guidance, and support to team members.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
Design Implementation
  • Collaborate with landscape architects and designers to interpret and implement design plans.
  • Ensure the construction process aligns with the intended design, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Select and source appropriate materials and plants for each project.
Quality Control
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction.
  • Perform final inspections to ensure the project meets client expectations and design specifications.
Client Relations
  • Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on project progress.
  • Address client concerns and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients, fostering trust and satisfaction.
Budget Management
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Track expenses and manage financial reports.
  • Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain the best value.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape construction management.
  • Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, horticulture, and construction techniques.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel.
