This role demands exceptional project management capabilities, a profound understanding of sustainability concepts, and the aptitude to engage stakeholders effectively. You will operate within a dynamic environment and report directly to the Senior Program Manager - Sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sustainability deliverables managed by the Sustainability function, including initiatives aligned with Noble's sustainability framework.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive project management framework for sustainability, encompassing tools, processes, and guidelines to ensure successful project execution.
- Work alongside initiative teams and stakeholders to establish project goals, scope, deliverables, and timelines, crafting project plans for effective implementation.
- Oversee multiple sustainability projects concurrently, monitoring progress, identifying potential risks, and applying mitigation strategies to guarantee project success.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations Excellence, finance, supply chain, and human resources, to integrate sustainability into business practices.
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements to promote collaboration and ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed about relevant sustainability standards and reporting frameworks, including GHG accounting and reporting principles.
- Assist in the ongoing collection, measurement, monitoring, and reporting of ESG performance data, including compliance with reporting requirements such as CSRD and voluntary frameworks like CDP.
- Proven experience in project management, particularly within sustainability, ESG, or corporate social responsibility contexts.
- Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental science, business, project management, or related fields. PMP certification is advantageous.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management and/or sustainability.
- Previous experience in the Oil & Gas or Energy sectors is preferred.
- Strong ability to facilitate stakeholder discussions and workshops, prioritizing activities that support both short-term and long-term program goals with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated project management skills, with a history of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and software.
- Proficient in data analysis and technology, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Power BI, with comfort in handling large datasets.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to present complex information to varied audiences.
- Experience managing sustainability-related projects, such as energy efficiency, waste reduction, supply chain sustainability, or social impact initiatives, is highly desirable.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality in reporting.
