Job Summary

As a Senior Financial Analyst - Construction at Memorial Hermann Health System, you will play a critical role in conducting in-depth financial analysis to ensure optimal departmental effectiveness. Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct moderate to complex financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Resource Management: Manage resource consumption to achieve financial savings on projects and ensure timely creation of purchase orders and commitments.
  • Vendor Invoicing: Process vendor invoices and pay applications in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Construction Projects: Interact with the in-house construction team and user groups across multiple campuses to ensure successful project execution.
  • Trend Analysis: Develop trend analysis reports to monitor key performance indicators and compare them to internal and external benchmarks.
  • Supervision: May supervise clerical staff and ensure safe care to patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Professional Development: Promote individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, healthcare administration, construction management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Two years of relevant business experience, preferably in healthcare and construction.
  • Skills: Strong data-mining, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as advanced communication skills, both verbal and written.
Additional Requirements

MUST have CONSTRUCTION experience Building/Construction/Finance is a mandatory requirement to be considered for this role.
