Behavioral Health Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Clinical Therapist to join our team at UCHealth. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide top-notch behavioral health care to patients in a dynamic and innovative clinical environment.
Responsibilities- Implement counseling and therapy for assigned patients in individual and group settings, assessing their needs and providing necessary services and interventions.
- Interview and assess patients, their families, caregivers, and legal representatives to determine the best course of action.
- Collaborate with other team members to evaluate patient progress and develop effective discharge plans, including referrals to community-based resources.
- Utilize teaching methods and referrals to ensure patient and family educational needs are met, and participate in training new staff, students, and interns as assigned.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- State licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), or Licensed Addiction Counselor (ACD), or other licensure/certification approved by department leadership.
