We are currently in search of recent graduates who possess strong quantitative, qualitative, and interpersonal skills for an internship opportunity within our Product Management Team. This role offers Junior Analysts a distinctive chance to gain invaluable experience across the private equity sector and to engage with various private market funds and investment strategies, including private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and private debt.

The Junior Analyst will collaborate closely with the Product Management Team to assist in fundraising efforts, client service, reporting initiatives, and investment updates for StepStone's commingled funds. This position provides significant exposure to both business development and investment facets of the private markets industry, making it an excellent opportunity to acquire insights into asset management and the diverse elements of the private markets business.

Throughout this internship, participants will develop skills that are beneficial in product management, communications, marketing, and business development contexts. The ideal candidate will have a solid academic background, exceptional quantitative abilities, strong writing skills, and a positive, team-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with due diligence requests from Limited Partners and prospects, including the coordination of compliance submissions and various data inquiries.
  • Contribute to content creation for strategy-specific and fund marketing initiatives for both internal and external audiences.
  • Support CRM management and data entry for fundraising updates to ensure accurate and timely pipeline information is available for business management.
  • Update firm-branded materials, including content preparation, PowerPoint presentations, rebranding efforts, idea generation, and formatting corrections.

Qualifications:

  • Eligibility to work legally in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship.
  • Recent university graduate.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrable analytical skills, including strong quantitative and modeling capabilities.
  • Experience with CRMs (e.g., Salesforce) and research databases (e.g., Preqin) is a plus.
  • A collaborative team player with a strong work ethic.

Compensation: $25 per hour
