Job Summary
The DARO Reporting and Operations Junior Analyst role is designed for professionals looking to gain exposure to the private markets industry and develop skills in investment analysis and reporting. As a Junior Analyst, you will work closely with the SPAR team to support active investment data management and reconciliation efforts within the StepStone investment reporting and analytics system.
Key Responsibilities
Provide operational support for daily valuation clients, ensuring timely service and rapid turnaround of daily reporting requirements.
Support discretionary investment client operations, including cash flows, quarterly capital account balances, and portfolio company analysis, with timely system entry, review, reconciliation, and reporting of new and ongoing investment data activity.
Participate in active daily communication with the team, including live daily meetings, resolution of issues through email, and saving down records of necessary support materials/documentation.
Develop and enhance operations systems across the DARO suite of processes, leveraging technical skills in SQL, Power BI, DAX, and Advanced Excel.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or accounting preferred.
Relevant coursework or work experience.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Promote and demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Dynamic, hard-working, and a self-starter.
Significant experience with Microsoft Excel.
Basic knowledge of accounting and working knowledge of the financial services industry.
Interest in global financial markets and private markets.
