Position Overview:
We invite you to join our Coram/CVS team as a Patient Care Coordinator. In this pivotal role, you will engage directly with patients, healthcare providers, caregivers, and various internal teams to address inquiries, resolve issues, provide essential education, and uphold our esteemed reputation for exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new infusion patients to CVS Specialty and Coram.
- Utilize your knowledge of insurance and healthcare to assist with new referrals and patient admissions.
- Deliver customer education and conduct routine assessments to identify and resolve problems.
- Demonstrate a balance of compassion and professionalism in all interactions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of experience in customer service and healthcare.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Familiarity with insurance terminology and medical benefits.
- Experience in fast-paced environments and call centers.
- Excellent multitasking and communication skills.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with potential overtime and on-call weekends as needed.
Compensation and Benefits:
The typical pay range for this role is $28.46 per hour. This range represents the base hourly rate for all positions within this job grade. Your actual salary will depend on various factors, including experience and education.
