Senior Software Architect

At Stelvio Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Architect to lead our software development team. As a Senior Software Architect, you will be responsible for making high-level design choices and dictating technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Your main goal will be to develop technical frameworks and guide the development of solutions to ensure they align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architectural Leadership: Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards.
  • Design and Implement Innovative Solutions: Design and implement innovative architecture solutions that align with business objectives and technology trends.
  • Technical Guidance and Coaching: Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.
  • Progress Oversight: Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design.
  • Strategy Development: Understand company needs to define system specifications and plan software architecture accordingly.
  • Collaboration and Research: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and evolve the technology strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Research emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending best practices and frameworks.
  • Design Solutions: Lead the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.
  • Integration and Evaluation: Ensure the integration of new technologies into existing systems seamlessly. Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other professionals (e.g., software developers, product managers) to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, etc.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply them to operations and activities within the organization.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Software Architect or in a similar senior development role.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with software development and coding in various languages (C#,.NET, Java, Python, etc.). Strong knowledge of software and application design and architecture.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation abilities. High-quality organizational and leadership skills.
Working Conditions:

  • Standard office hours: Standard office hours with additional hours as required to meet project deadlines.
  • Travel: Some travel may be required for meetings with clients, stakeholders, or to attend professional conferences and seminars.
