Position Overview

SSTAR is seeking dedicated Housekeepers to join our team. This role offers 30 hours per week at a competitive rate of $16.70 per hour. The working hours are from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The Housekeeping staff will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across all units and SSTAR locations, including covering for absent team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispose of waste materials efficiently.
  • Perform sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping of floors.
  • Thoroughly clean restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas.
  • Dust and sanitize surfaces, adhering to biohazard protocols when necessary.
  • Restock dispensers with essential supplies such as bleach, toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
  • Execute specific cleaning tasks as outlined in the designated cleaning schedule.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning agents and other necessary supplies.
  • Ensure cleaning carts are organized, stocked, and maintained in a clean condition.
  • Identify and eliminate safety hazards as they arise.
  • Conduct spot cleaning of walls as required.
  • Provide coverage for various shifts during staff absences.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a cleaning role.
  • Reliability and dependability are essential.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
  • Capable of performing tasks that involve repetitive bending and hand movements.
