We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Childcare Bus Driver/Floater Teacher at All Around Children, a family-owned childcare business with a passion for providing high-quality care and education.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a 14-passenger school bus, transporting children to and from the childcare center, and assisting in maintaining a clean and safe learning environment. As a Floater Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with children of various ages and support the educational programs at our center.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a 14-passenger school bus, ensuring the safety and well-being of children during transportation.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized bus, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
  • Support the educational programs at our center, working with children of various ages and abilities.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure a smooth and efficient daily operation.
  • Participate in safety drills and emergency procedures, prioritizing the safety of children and staff.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous driving experience, preferably with children.
  • Ability to lift and move children safely, up to 50lbs.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others.
