Early Childhood Educator and Transportation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team at All Around Children as an Assistant School Age Teacher/Bus Driver. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our young learners.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Caregiving: Provide high-quality education and care to children aged 5-12 years, fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Transportation: Safely transport children to and from school and on field trips, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with our team of experienced educators and support staff to design and implement engaging activities and routines that cater to the unique needs of each child.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely records of children's progress, attendance, and developmental milestones, providing regular updates to families.
- Education and Experience: Minimum of a high school diploma/GED, with a CDA, AA or higher degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred.
- Childcare Experience: At least one year of experience working in a licensed ODJFS child care program, with a proven track record of providing high-quality care and education to children.
- Transportation Skills: Valid driver's license, with experience driving a 14-passenger school bus and/or 6 passenger minivan.
- Physical Demands: Ability to kneel, bend, squat, stand, and sit on child-sized furniture or on the floor for extended periods, with a weight capacity of up to 50lbs.
- Competitive Compensation: Competitive hourly rate ranging from $13.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on experience and credentials.
