About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled software engineer to join our team at Google. As a senior cloud infrastructure engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying large-scale infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure solutions using Google Cloud technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure the highest level of technical excellence.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, analyzing root causes and implementing effective solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
  • 3+ years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products, with a focus on cloud-based solutions.
  • 1+ year of experience in software design and architecture, with a focus on cloud-based systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
  • 1+ year of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $161,000-$239,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
