As a software engineer at Google, you'll be part of a collaborative and dynamic team that's passionate about building innovative solutions. You'll work on a specific project critical to Google's needs, with opportunities to switch teams and projects as our business grows and evolves.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions for Google Cloud.
  • Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to decide on available technologies and review code developed by other developers.
  • Contribute to existing documentation and adapt content based on product updates and user feedback.
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing sources of issues and impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  • 3 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, and/or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.

We offer a competitive salary range of $161,000-$239,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Learn more about benefits at Google.
