Job Overview:

As an On-Call Hospice RN with TAG MedStaffing, you will have the opportunity to provide compassionate care to hospice patients and their families in New Jersey. This role involves conducting assessments, coordinating care, and offering support to ensure a high standard of hospice services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Conduct thorough assessments and follow established care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications and document treatments accurately to maintain patient records.
  • Coordination: Communicate effectively with healthcare teams and families to coordinate care and address patient needs.
  • Education: Provide patient and family education on care plans and medication use to promote independence and self-direction.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed and timely patient records to ensure accurate care planning.
  • Support: Offer emotional support to patients and families, fostering a sense of comfort and well-being.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN preferred).
  • Experience: 1+ years in adult, pediatric, or medical/surgical clinical care (hospice experience preferred).
  • Licensure: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in New Jersey; PA licensure if practicing in PA.
  • Skills: Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.
