Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough physical and psychosocial assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Implement nursing interventions and treatments to promote patient comfort, dignity, and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Administer medications and perform technical procedures as needed.
- Document patient information and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Graduation from an accredited school of Practical Nursing and licensure to practice as a Practical Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
- Minimum one-year adult or pediatric medical/surgical clinical experience.
- Strong nursing assessment and documentation skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to comprehend the spoken and written English language and to communicate with clarity both verbally and in writing.
As a Per diem Hospice LPN at Karen Ann Quinlan Home for Hospice, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families. We offer a competitive compensation package, including a starting rate of $29.00 per hour, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
