Residential Outside Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Account Executive to join our dynamic team covering the MD, VA, and WV territory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
The Outside Sales Account Executive will be responsible for growing sales and increasing company profits by cultivating current customers and recruiting new customers. This will involve preparing and conducting sales presentations, determining customer requirements and expectations, and identifying trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of progressive work experience in sales, strong customer service and problem-solving skills, and the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. They will also be available to work weekday or weekend overtime as required.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to learn and apply new product knowledge to enhance sales and personal professionalism, remain current with changes in local codes and consumer preferences, and participate in local industry organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and conduct sales presentations of products to new and existing customers
- Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products
- Identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction
- Maintain and improve customer relationships and satisfaction
- Visit job sites as needed to measure or provide client services
- Gather competitive information and other market information regularly while interacting cooperatively with other members of the distribution team
- Prepare and present quotations
- Participate and be active in local industry organizations
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years progressive work experience in sales
- Strong customer service and/or problem-solving skills
- Must be results-oriented and willing to be accountable for results
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Available to work weekday or weekend overtime as required
