Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure all materials utilized by servers are sanitized and prepared for daily operations.
  2. Maintain awareness of the seating arrangement for diners in the dining areas and lounges.
  3. Prepare the service area with necessary items such as underliner plates, cutlery, doilies, linen napkins, and other essentials for food delivery.
  4. Organize and match plates with corresponding tickets for efficient food service.
  5. Set tables according to Troon International standards.
  6. Verify that each menu item is prepared precisely as specified on the order ticket.
  7. Consult with the kitchen staff regarding any discrepancies in menu item preparation before serving.
  8. Refill water glasses and remove unused place settings promptly.
  9. Clear dishes from the table as guests finish each course.
  10. Reset tables after guests depart, including changing tablecloths, cleaning chairs, arranging seating, and replenishing cutlery and glassware.
  11. Assist servers as required to enhance service efficiency.
  12. Maintain well-stocked workstations with necessary items and ingredients.
  13. Keep work areas clean, dispose of waste, and vacuum dining spaces as needed.
  14. Adhere to safe work practices throughout job duties.
  15. Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

One month of relevant experience or training in a similar role.

Other Qualifications:

Demonstrated professionalism, cleanliness, and attention to detail are essential. Regular and dependable attendance is required, including weekends and holidays.

Skills and Attributes:

Successful candidates will possess strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Education and Experience:

Prior experience in a food service environment is preferred.

Licenses & Certifications:

Relevant certifications in food safety or hospitality are advantageous.
