Position Overview
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Operate diverse production equipment, including Sewing Machines, Cutters, Presses, and Screen Printers, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Conduct visual inspections for defects in accordance with our Quality Systems Manual and promptly report any issues to production support.
- Exemplify positive behavior that aligns with the corporate culture of Polo Custom Products.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to meet team objectives.
- Prepare and label production components during the manufacturing process.
- Utilize shop aids such as templates and micrometers for random quality checks.
- Maintain accurate records of production counts and rejects using paper forms or the ShopTrak system.
- Adapt to various roles within the department/team as needed to fulfill production goals.
- Manually install raw materials, including zippers and buckles, during production.
- Monitor daily output to comply with established production targets.
- Propose cost-saving initiatives and strategies to enhance production efficiency and minimize waste.
- Competitive compensation - Starting wage $10 per hour for Press roles / $12 per hour for Sewing roles.

To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to identify error patterns and troubleshoot issues.
- Strong focus and diligence in tasks.
- Dependability and punctuality.
- Capability to comprehend and follow job instructions.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools accurately.
- Clear verbal communication skills.
- Effective teamwork abilities.
- Physical dexterity for operating machinery.
- Flexibility and adaptability to support team needs.
- Basic mathematical knowledge.
- Capacity to lift and transport items weighing up to 35 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to frequently stand, sit, and perform various physical movements such as reaching, pinching, gripping, pushing, pulling, twisting, and bending.
