Job Summary

Berry Global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Thermoform Resin Assistant Group Leader to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our thermoforming resin material handling process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to Thermoforming Resin Material Handlers to ensure efficient and safe operation of the production floor.
  • Enforce safety protocols, ISO, SQF, HACCP, and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist with process recipes and resin traceability to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Aid in the testing and evaluation of new or advanced resins to improve product quality and efficiency.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of regrind usage, grinder logs, and other relevant data to inform production decisions.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to crew members to ensure effective use of resources and efficient production.
  • Communicate effectively with other shift leads and employees to ensure seamless transitions and efficient production.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or previous experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and handle heavy equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and forklift certification.
Physical Qualifications
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds to waist level.
  • Ability to handle and pull full totes with a forklift.
  • Ability to ascend and descend ladders.
