Premium Bartender

Overview:
The Bartender is responsible for serving all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, in a fast-paced environment. They must be personable, professional, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented setting. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $14.00 plus tips.

This position requires the ability to meet company standards for excellent guest service, interaction with coworkers, and uniform standards.
Responsibilities:
- Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus to provide service as described.
- Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures for serving alcoholic drinks, including state and federal regulations.
- Learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine, and spirits available and be able to suggestively upsell products to guests.
- Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size.
- Check guests' IDs to verify minimum age requirements for purchasing alcoholic beverages.
- Communicate a cut-off to guests as required.
- Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns.
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security as needed.
- Request additional product or restock product as required.
- Handle cash accurately and maintain a clean and sanitary work station at all times.
Other duties may include setting up and breaking down bar equipment and assisting with cooler organization.
Qualifications:
- At least six months of bartending experience.
- Accurate cash handling skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long hours.
Physical Dimensions:
This role requires extensive and continuous standing and walking. Routine activities involve reaching with hands and arms, sitting, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have good vision, including the ability to adjust focus, peripheral vision, and close vision.
