About the Role

The Consulting Director will develop and execute a strategy to infuse diversity and inclusion into all aspects of the organization, achieving systemic change and a culture of belonging.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the DEI Task Force and leadership to develop and execute a strategy for DEI initiatives.
  • Develop a mechanism to measure the progress and impact of DEI initiatives.
  • Serve as a consultant and resource to committees to assist them in incorporating EDI into their work.
  • Steward DEI initiatives and trainings for leadership.
  • Develop DEI resources in collaboration with the DEI Task Force, leadership, committees, and members.
  • Drive commitment, accountability, and transparency around targeted improvements.
  • Assist the Public Issue Response Committee drafting statements on public issues consistent with the mission, strategic goals, values, and legislative initiatives.
  • Provide monthly reports to the Board of Directors and attend all Board meetings.
Qualifications
  • Appropriate educational background and work/lived experience for developing, executing, and assessing DEI programs.
  • Knowledge of mental health services and practices.
  • Experience working with historically marginalized groups.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of concepts and processes driving organizational DEI.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including addressing sensitive topics and difficult conversations.
  • Demonstrated ability to show DEI program effectiveness through measurable metrics.
Compensation

$75 per hour for 10 hours weekly.
