Position Overview:


The Truss Assembly Technician is responsible for executing repetitive assembly tasks to efficiently manufacture products such as trusses, panels, doors, and windows by performing the following responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Aligns components in designated configurations.
2. Secures parts using bolts, clips, screws, adhesives, or other fastening methods.
3. Measures and cuts materials to specified dimensions as required.
4. Identifies and removes defective items from the production line.
5. Operates machinery to perform fastening or fitting tasks within the assembly process.
6. Adapts to various workstations based on production demands.
7. Engages in a dynamic work environment where tasks may shift according to different product models being assembled.

Essential Qualifications:
No formal education or prior experience is mandated.
Experience in carpentry is advantageous.

Attributes You Bring:
- Proficient in reading and understanding basic instructions and capable of writing simple correspondence.
- Strong verbal communication skills to effectively convey information in both individual and group settings.
- Basic mathematical skills for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; ability to utilize a tape measure.
- Capability to apply common sense in executing detailed but straightforward written or verbal instructions.
- Competence in addressing problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized scenarios.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:


In this role, the employee is consistently required to stand, use hands for manipulation, reach with arms, and communicate verbally.

The employee is regularly required to walk.
Occasionally, the employee may need to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee must consistently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this role, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical components and may encounter airborne particles.

The employee may also be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, extreme temperatures, electrical hazards, and vibrations.
The noise level in the workplace is typically loud.

Protective equipment such as earplugs and safety glasses will be required as per safety regulations.
