We are seeking a skilled Electro Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team at JBT Corporation. As a leading global supplier of automated vehicle systems, we offer a unique opportunity for individuals to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
The Opportunity
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly, including point-to-point wiring, wiring out, and cable harness layout, as well as basic mechanical assembly.
- Use and interpret electrical wiring schemes and bind wires together using sleeves, cable lacing, cable ties, and electronic conduits.
- Utilize various types of hand tools in electro-mechanical assembly of laser-guided autonomous vehicles used in material handling applications.
- Use and interpret electrical drawings to identify the best method for completing tasks.
- Use and interpret electrical drawings to layout required equipment and materials prior to starting assembly.
- Self-audit and inspect assembled work prior to final inspection, using drawings and checklists.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, bills of material, and electrical schematics.
- Prior experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Previous experience using fitting equipment, such as cutters, wire strippers, and crimping tools.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to travel to and work at our location, when needed.
- High School/Trade School Graduate.
