Job Overview

Charles IT is seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting services to resolve technical issues for end users
  • Support Microsoft-related technologies, including Windows Server, Office 365/Exchange, SQL, and SharePoint
  • Support virtual environments, including VMware and Hyper-V
  • Configure, install, and support various network devices and services, including WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
  • Effectively communicate with customers on ticket progress, impending changes, or agreed outages
  • Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities
  • Maintain daily documentation by entering time, expenses, and all work as service tickets in ConnectWise

Requirements:

  • 5 or more years of experience (preferred)
  • Certifications such as MCSA, VCP, CCNA are a plus
  • Experience with platforms like ConnectWise, Cisco, Meraki, Datto, VMware, and Office 365 is a bonus
  • Strong communication skills are essential for success in this role
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate effectively within a fast-paced, client-focused team
  • Enthusiastic about taking on challenges in a growing company with a diverse client base
  • Self-driven and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
