Job Summary

The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong passion for the restaurant industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restaurant Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that our guests receive exceptional customer service, including responding to customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels to minimize waste and ensure that we have the necessary ingredients to meet customer demand.
  • Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of the restaurant, including controlling labor costs, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that we are meeting our financial targets.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to motivate and inspire a team, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability: Full-time availability with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
