Heavy Duty Diesel Technician

Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine diagnosis and repair, as well as experience with fleet maintenance operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing repairs and preventative maintenance on medium to heavy duty vehicles
- Conducting safety inspections and preparing safety documentation
- Complying with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Inspecting and performing work on the undercarriage of vehicles
- Interacting with clients through email or phone as necessary
Requirements include:
- At least 5 years' experience performing vehicle maintenance or an auto or diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical school
- Commercial Driver's License class 'A' or 'B' preferred
- Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle
- Knowledge of hand-held scan tools and the process of diagnosing vehicles
- Proficient computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Fleet Management Systems
