Position Overview
The Senior Engineering Project Manager plays a crucial role in advancing RayzeBio's innovative therapeutic solutions to patients.
In this position, you will report to the Head of Engineering or other relevant engineering leadership and will be tasked with spearheading engineering initiatives that support the growth and commercialization efforts at our Indianapolis facility.
Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of capital projects, including but not limited to facility expansions, Hot Cell design, automation, and system integration within a GMP framework.
You will oversee capital budgets and ensure the successful and timely execution of essential commercial initiatives. Additional duties will involve providing project engineering support across various functions at the site and mentoring junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
- Manage a diverse array of engineering capital and facility expansion projects tailored to radiopharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Ensure adherence to capital project budgets and timelines.
- Utilize multiple engineering disciplines as necessary, including mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineering.
- Oversee the design and implementation of commercial production lines and associated support systems.
- Integrate automation technologies to replace existing manual processes.
- Implement engineering and related business systems in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Coordinate with external vendors, partners, and service providers as needed.
- Comply with EHS and Radiation Safety protocols while fostering a culture of safety.
- Review, author, and/or update technical documentation (SOPs, URS's, forms, etc.) as required.
- Willingness to travel as necessary to support job functions.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 7 years of engineering experience.
- A Professional Engineer license.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
The starting pay rate reflects the job's requirements and the location of the role. Individual compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience.
