Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead our team in delivering high-quality projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil design, transportation, and infrastructure engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and monitor all aspects of projects, mentoring Design Engineers, Project Engineers, and Lead Engineers.
  • Oversee and manage design teams, developing, reviewing, and commenting on design documents and specifications.
  • Serve as the primary point of communication for clients, subconsultants, and internal coordination, including multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Develop proposals and project budgets, ensuring projects are completed according to time and budget schedules, and objectives conform to design standards and scope of work.
  • Supervise the completion, quality check, and approval of all client proposals and contracts.
  • Track projects' actual expenditures versus planned expenditures, reviewing and approving monthly billing invoices, and preparing monthly progress reports.
  • Advise clients of expenditure status as needed.
  • Use value engineering, optimization, and judgment from previous experience, as well as technical input and contributions from others, throughout the design process to accomplish goals.
  • Lead project meetings both internally and with clients.
  • Other assignments as needed.

Requirements:

  • B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of civil design experience in the transportation, infrastructure, and/or municipal engineering industries.
  • PE license preferred.
  • Working knowledge and experience with state and regional regulations.
  • Project experience working with INDOT, various counties, and/or local municipalities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of MicroStation and Geopak.
  • Valid driver's license required.
