Job Details

Location: Indianapolis, South Bend, Lafayette, or Crown Point, IN

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our team at Christopher B. Burke Engineering, LLC. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil design and project management, with a strong background in transportation and infrastructure engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and monitor all aspects of projects, mentoring design engineers and project engineers as needed
  • Oversee and manage design teams, developing and reviewing design documents and specifications
  • Serve as primary point of communication for clients, subconsultants, and internal coordination
  • Develop proposals and project budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Supervise the completion and approval of client proposals and contracts
  • Track project expenditures and prepare monthly progress reports
  • Use value engineering and optimization techniques to achieve project goals
  • Lead project meetings and other assignments as needed
Requirements:
  • B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of civil design experience
  • PE license preferred
  • Working knowledge and experience with state and regional regulations
  • Project experience working with INDOT, counties, and local municipalities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of MicroStation and Geopak
  • Valid driver's license required
