Clinical Optometrist with Comprehensive Care Responsibilities

About the Role:
This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to join our interdisciplinary healthcare environment. As an Clinical Optometrist, you will work closely with our medical and surgical teams to provide comprehensive care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include examining patients with various visual problems, diagnosing visual diseases, disorders, and deficiencies, and prescribing treatment according to your licensure and expertise. You will also be required to refer patients to other appropriate Kaiser Permanente providers as needed for further evaluation and treatment.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Optometrist who can join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess a graduation from an accredited school of Optometry, enrollment in PECOS within 90 days of hire date, and hold an active Optometrist License in Maryland, Virginia, or the District of Columbia. A minimum of two years of experience in an interdisciplinary healthcare environment is preferred, along with successful completion of an accredited residency program. Earned Salary:
Your annual salary will range between $120,000 - $180,000 based on your level of experience and qualifications, plus benefits.
