Job Summary:

This is a dynamic and rewarding role for an experienced Dialysis Registered Nurse. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, training patients in home dialysis modalities, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessments, treatments, and education
  • Train patients in self-care hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis modalities, ensuring they understand the necessary skills and techniques for successful treatment
  • Conduct regular home visits to assess patient environment and provide ongoing support
  • Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Document all nursing services accurately and timely in electronic medical records
  • Maintain accurate inventory and ordering of clinic and patient supplies
Requirements:
  • CPR certification required prior to patient care assignment
  • Current RN license in applicable state; 12 months of clinical experience in providing nursing care and 3 months of experience in specific modality for which nurse will provide home dialysis training
  • Previous experience in providing nursing care to patients on maintenance dialysis preferred
  • Confirmation of ability to distinguish all primary colors
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days of hire
