Role Overview:
As a Nurse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. You will lead a passionate team of nursing professionals, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage nursing staff, conducting performance assessments and addressing any disciplinary matters.
  • Ensure the delivery of top-notch care across all shifts, collaborating with families and healthcare providers.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive nursing service programs tailored to meet the medical needs of residents.
  • Monitor patient care and formulate care plans in consultation with medical professionals.
  • Manage staffing processes, including recruitment, training, and development of nursing personnel.
  • Address and resolve concerns raised by residents and their families.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Participate in ongoing training, meetings, and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Assume responsibility for resident care on a 24-hour basis, responding to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Valid RN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • Current certifications in Adult CPR and IV Therapy.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in long-term care, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Alzheimer's and Dementia care.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow complex instructions.
  • Proficient in basic math and computer skills.
  • Must be organized, adaptable, and a team-oriented individual.
