We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our team at National Counseling Group. Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical supervision to a team of mobile crisis counselors, ensuring adherence to program principles and clinical competency in implementation of interventions.
- Conduct weekly supervision, individual or group, to review clinical records and ensure proper and complete documentation of clinical and case management activities.
- Assist staff as needed, via phone and email, and remain available to clinical staff 24 hours daily to assist with crisis intervention.
- Accompany the Program Director to multi-disciplinary meetings and outside provider trainings, as requested.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, both external in the community and within the provider agency.
- Promote and educate about CR2 with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in quality assurance activities, as needed, which include meetings and phone interviews with clients, parents/guardians and case managers.
- Responsible for ongoing training of team members and initial training of new hires.
- Assist the Program Director in appraising staff performance and recommending and implementing disciplinary/corrective action as necessary.
- Participate in weekly management meetings and monthly staff meetings.
- Recommends, prepares, and facilitates trainings, as necessary, to assist staff in better meeting the needs of clients.
- Assists with audit of client records when staff separate from NCG.
- Responsible for review of written diagnostic assessments, assessing clients from multiple perspectives, including family functioning, psychological/emotional, social, academic, medical, behavioral, substance abuse, skills, strengths, barriers to economic self-sufficiency, treatment history, and others, and utilizing various assessment instruments, as well as other supporting documentation for each client.
- Responsible for review and maintenance of trackers utilized to monitor various aspects of programming.
- May provide direct clinical services to clients, inclusive of providing coverage to an employee shift, should it be necessary.
- May fulfill all documentation, case management and supplementary functions for providing direct service as outlined in the mobile crisis counselor job description.
- Assists and participates in ongoing in-service and professional development activities as needed.
- Adheres to and upholds the guidelines and standards of NCG, which include DMAS standards and guidelines, as well as contractual agreements implemented by grant funders during the provision of supervision and clinical care.
- Attend required renewal trainings such as CPR and First Aid.
- A minimum of 4 years of related experience, defined as providing clinical crisis services to children and adolescents with a mental illness, preferably with at-risk populations.
- Two years supervisory experience in the Human Services field preferred.
- Masters or better degree in a related field.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Professional Counselor.
