In your capacity as the Nursing Operations Leader, you will supervise and direct the activities of our nursing personnel at all levels, which includes conducting performance assessments and managing disciplinary actions.

Requirements
  • Current unencumbered RN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • Valid Adult CPR certification and IV Therapy credentials.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a long-term care setting, with at least one year in a supervisory role preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of Alzheimer's and Dementia care preferred.
  • Strong nursing judgment and practical nursing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, supervisory, and leadership abilities.
  • Detail-oriented problem solver, capable of following written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions.
  • Proficient in basic math and computer skills.
  • Organized, adaptable, patient, reliable, safety-conscious, empathetic, and a collaborative team member.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Develop, organize, and implement nursing service programs to address resident medical needs.
  • Monitor resident care and formulate care plans in consultation with physicians and staff.
  • Oversee staffing processes, including recruitment, hiring, and training.
  • Address and resolve resident and family concerns.
  • Coordinate the procurement and management of supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures for personnel, residents, and visitors.
  • Participate in surveys, inspections, training sessions, and meetings.
  • Engage in Nursing Administration on-call rotation.
  • Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care around the clock.
  • Manage emergency situations as necessary and inform relevant personnel when appropriate.
  • Attend daily briefings and report on resident status and related matters as required.
