Job Description

At Kalitta Charters II, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Charter Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, coordinating aircraft charter quotes, and ensuring seamless flight operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional and courteous customer service to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Utilize flight following software to generate accurate and timely quotations for customer consideration.
  • Track the status of aircraft, flight crews, and coordinate booked flights by communicating with aircraft maintenance, crew scheduling, and operations teams.
  • Coordinate ground handling for aircraft and arrange customs accommodations as needed.
  • Collaborate with the flight coordination team to determine aircraft rates and availability.
  • Provide support to flight following and flight crews as required.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent education.
  • Valid unrestricted driver's license required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience and good telephone communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills and internet proficiency.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Proficiency in basic math and ability to calculate freight capacity.
  • Aviation experience is a plus but not required.

Shift Requirements:

  • Must be available to work full-time and overtime as needed.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
  • Must be available for assigned shifts and flexible with scheduling.
  • Available shift is 3PM to 3AM, 4 days on and 4 days off.
