Pilot Position at Pentastar Aviation Charter, Inc.

The successful candidate will serve as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) of a Lear 45XR in a 14 CFR Part 91 business aviation environment. The PIC is responsible for the safety and comfort of passengers while executing timely operation of the aircraft. The PIC works together with the Second-In-Command (SIC) to ensure that all flight and ground operations comply with FAA Regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers
  • Execute timely operation of the aircraft
  • Work together with the SIC to comply with FAA Regulations
  • Support and promote a cohesive team environment on the flight deck
  • Make decisions regarding possible delays, rerouting, or flight cancellations

Hiring preference will be given to those who can demonstrate high attention to detail, a courteous professional demeanor, and impeccable customer service. This position is based at Willow Run Airport (KYIP). The individual selected for this position must live within two hours of the airport. As a pilot for Pentastar Aviation in this role, crew members can expect to fly approximately 275 hours per year with 125 days of annual travel.

Requirements:
  • FAA ATP Certificate with Multi-Engine Rating
  • FAA First Class Medical Certificate
  • Minimum of 3000 hours of Total Flight Time
  • Valid US Passport
  • Prior experience in a multi-crew environment
  • Bachelor's degree in aviation or a related field preferred
  • Ability to accommodate a varied and changing work schedule
  • Prior Lear 40 series experience preferred
  • FSI or CAE-trained Lear 45 current and qualified applicants will be highly favored
