Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Field Equipment Specialist to join our team at H&E Equipment Services. As a Field Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for repairing, diagnosing, inspecting, and maintaining various types of aerial and earth moving equipment, primarily servicing rentals and some customer-owned equipment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex equipment issues with minimal supervision
  • Perform thorough and accurate annual inspections of equipment
  • Knowledgeable in troubleshooting various heavy equipment product lines
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment
  • History of safe work habits and good customer service skills

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • A minimum five (5) to seven (7) years' experience as a mechanic repairing and maintaining heavy construction equipment is required
  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant driving experience is required
  • Hard down/major repair skills is required
  • Factory, vocational, or mechanical training is a plus
