Key Responsibilities
  • Security Incident Management: Identify and mitigate security incidents, develop response measures, and ensure compliance with security protocols.
  • Program Security Officer: Serve as the program security officer for special program support in a SCIF environment, ensuring the highest level of security and confidentiality.
  • Security Coordination: Coordinate with the OUSD(I&S) Special Access Program Central Office, Special Security Office, Joint Staff, and Military Services security offices for guidance, direction, and resolution of security-related issues and requirements.
  • Clearance Management: Coordinate personnel clearance verifications, visitor requests, and provide required security briefings, ensuring timely and accurate clearance processing.
  • Access Control: Initiate PARS, provide access briefings, and facilitate Alternate Compensatory Control Measure access, ensuring seamless access to classified information.
  • Security Systems Management: Update and maintain classified access management systems of record, ensuring accurate and up-to-date security information.
  • Equipment and Communications Management: Coordinate equipment, communications, and IT requirements in the SCIF, ensuring secure and reliable operations.
  • Policies and Procedures: Assist in the development and execution of policies and procedures regarding special access programs and SCI data, identifying and reporting vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to test, training, and operations activities.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in security operations, with a strong background in security incident management, program security, and clearance management.
  • Credentials: Top Secret clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility required.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to actively communicate with co-workers, program leadership, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations.
