Job Title: Asset Protection Specialist

At The GIANT Company, we're committed to making our stores and facilities better every day for our team members, customers, and communities. As an Asset Protection Specialist, you'll play a critical role in helping us achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct surveillance and investigations to detect and prevent shoplifting and other forms of fraud.
  • Collaborate with store teams to provide training on asset protection systems and procedures.
  • Represent the company in court and work with law enforcement agencies to investigate and prosecute cases.
  • Monitor CCTV systems and ensure proper working order.
  • Conduct asset protection focus walks and complete hardware maintenance as needed.
  • Analyze POS and Veribalance information to assist in investigations.
  • Maintain knowledge of store emergency policies and assist in responding to security incidents.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and exercise critical thinking and good judgment.
  • Effective time management and ability to travel between store locations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain composed and react appropriately in emergency situations.
