Job Summary

Rose International is seeking a highly skilled RN Certified Coder to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for determining the correct codes for language in benefit plans, reviewing peer designations, and facilitating discussions to create a coding document.

Responsibilities
  • Coding and Reimbursement: Determine which codes belong to the language in benefit plans and review what peers have designated as correct coding.
  • Coding Document Creation: Facilitate any discussions needed to create a coding document.
  • Audit and Compliance: Review audit results and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Project Meetings: Participate in project meetings to ensure coding and reimbursement methodologies are up-to-date.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years' experience with coding and reimbursement methodologies (e.g. CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, CMS).
  • Certification: 3+ years Certified Professional Coder (AAPC or AHIMA).
  • Licensure: 3+ years Active unrestricted RN license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Managed Care Experience: Prior managed care experience.
