Audiologist Job Description

At Southern Indiana ENT, we are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team. As an Audiologist, you will play a critical role in supporting our otolaryngology physicians and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer hearing tests and examinations to determine the type and degree of hearing impairment.
  • Evaluate hearing and balance disorders to determine diagnoses and courses of treatment.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and provide ongoing observation of hearing.
  • Fit, dispense, and repair assistive devices, such as hearing aids.
  • Develop and implement treatment programs for patients' hearing or balance problems.
  • Counsel and instruct patients and their families in techniques to improve hearing and communication.
  • Monitor patients' progress and provide ongoing support.
Requirements:
  • Au.D. or Master's Degree in Audiology.
  • At least 1 to 3 years of experience. Recent graduates will be considered.
  • Complex problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and critical-thinking skills.
