Design Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Design Operations Specialist to join our team at Procom. As a key member of our Experience Design (XD) Team, you will play a critical role in supporting and enabling user experience design teams to do their best work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organizational and Team Leadership: Manage the day-to-day program management of 1-2 design teams while contributing to horizontal initiatives that support the organization as a whole.
  • Operational Leadership: Use expert knowledge of user experience design teams, organizational structures, and product development processes to help with the strategic management of the XD Team.
  • Program Management: Oversight and management of XD initiatives to ensure they are well-coordinated, consistently applied, align with the prioritization, and meet the goals of the XD organization.
  • Strategic Communication: Effectively communicate relevant information related to team, project, or org initiatives in a way that is clear, consistent, and aligned to the goals of the XD organization.
Requirements:
  • 6-10 years in product design focused on digital products or equivalent.
  • 3+ years experience managing teams or projects.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies and software development processes like Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
  • Experience creating timelines, communicating status, and gathering requirements for design teams related to digital product development.
Preferred Skills:
  • Proven traits of successful candidates: Worked in matrixed or corporate environments previously.
  • Excellent communication skills.
