At Day Wireless Systems, we seek Radio Technicians with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the operation and maintenance of radio systems (Motorola), RF spectrum-dependent telecommunications systems, and associated equipment. This includes Trunked Land Mobile Radio Systems, Microwave Systems, Conventional Land Mobile Radio Systems, Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), and various wireless applications.

Qualifications:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in 2-way radio technology
  • FCC GROL, CET, and/or CGT certifications are highly advantageous
  • Proficient in reading schematics, block diagrams, and flow charts for the maintenance and repair of electronic systems and equipment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to wireless communication equipment
  • Conduct necessary diagnostic and analytical tests to repair wireless communication systems, including dispatch consoles, paging infrastructure, trunked radio systems, and mobile installations
  • Monitor and report on Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems
  • Maintain RF, paging, microwave, and DAS systems
  • Install radio and wireless mobile and base communication systems according to industry standards and vendor specifications
