Experienced Radiographer with NDT Certifications

Job Summary:

Applied Technical Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Radiographer with NDT certifications for a permanent position in Seattle, WA.

This role involves managing equipment and materials, compiling client reports, meeting deadlines, and performing non-destructive testing and examination at client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage equipment and materials necessary for inspection
  • Compile client reports including drawings using CAD and word processors
  • Meet deadlines for work and reports
  • Work with clients to locate and identify indications and their probable causes
  • General shop-assistant duties to keep the NDT shop in working order
  • Perform non-destructive testing and examination at client sites

Requirements:

  • NDT Level II Technicians with a working knowledge of industrial environments and general manufacturing processes
  • Ability to effectively communicate with other departments and customers
  • Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal
  • Applicants must pass a drug screen and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Work Conditions:

  • Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department
  • Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc.
  • Work in confined spaces which will require crawling, stooping, climbing, etc.
  • Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments
  • Work with radiation and hazardous materials
