Your Role
The Facility Maintenance Associate plays a crucial role in upholding the cleanliness and orderliness of the property’s shared spaces. This position is vital in ensuring that the property presents a welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, the Facility Maintenance Associate is tasked with preparing apartments for new residents.


Key Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect all areas of the community to maintain cleanliness and remove any litter, debris, or animal waste.

• Prioritize safety by promptly addressing any hazardous conditions, such as faulty lighting or trip hazards.

• Execute trash removal duties in vacant apartments, including the disposal of abandoned items and waste.

• Assist with apartment readiness tasks as needed.

• Ensure that the clubhouse, office, model units, and all communal areas are kept clean and sanitary.

• Maintain cleanliness in dumpster zones and prepare for waste collection.

• Oversee the upkeep of landscaping, including watering and maintaining flower beds.

• Guarantee that each apartment is in pristine condition before new residents arrive.

• Report any maintenance issues or areas needing attention to the supervisor, such as damaged flooring or required repairs.

• Collaborate with the Community Manager or Maintenance Supervisor/Lead to address maintenance concerns or enhance curb appeal.

• Respond effectively to emergencies in accordance with established protocols.

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

• Contribute to resident satisfaction by ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Lead/Supervisor or Community Manager.


Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and on-call hours.

• Capability to navigate the property, including climbing stairs and working in various weather conditions.

• Physical ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, push, pull, and carry supplies as needed.

• Ability to stand for extended periods.

• Willingness to travel occasionally to assist at other locations.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
