Veterinary Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Care Specialist to join our team at Banfield Pet Hospital. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our furry patients and their owners.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Preventative Care: Conduct thorough examinations, administer vaccinations, and provide preventative care to ensure the health and well-being of our patients.
- Diagnose and Treat: Accurately diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions, including diseases and injuries, using your expertise and knowledge of veterinary medicine.
- Communicate Effectively: Clearly and compassionately communicate with pet owners, providing them with accurate information and guidance on their pet's health and treatment options.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with our veterinary team, including veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support staff, to ensure seamless care and exceptional patient outcomes.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD): Must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary program.
- State Veterinary Board License: Must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state where the hospital is located.
- Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) License: Must hold a DEA license to prescribe and administer controlled substances.
