Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide and mentor teams in pre-construction and estimation, ensuring effective service delivery and improved performance.
  • Supervise and assess the final bidding procedures, including subcontractor and supplier pricing, as well as proposals for both negotiated and competitive projects.
  • Collaborate with the estimating team to finalize estimates, budgets, and value engineering initiatives, producing comprehensive cost models, budgets, spending forecasts, and timelines.
  • Create competitive proposals for Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contracts and communicate information effectively to subcontractors and team members.
  • Act as a liaison among clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, promoting communication and strategic partnerships.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in estimating for commercial or railroad construction.
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience managing estimating or pre-construction teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Familiarity with construction platforms such as Building Connected, Blue Book, and iSqFt is advantageous.
